Students are expected to arrive promptly for school each day.
Each child will follow their own timetable based over a two-week period. Weeks are referred to as Week A and Week B and run consecutively (excluding holidays) over the school year.
The school day timings are
8:30 – Arrival at school
8:40 – 9:00 Tutor & registration
9:00 – 10:00 Period 1
10:00 – 11:00 Period 2
11:00 – 11:20 Break
11:20 – 12:20 Period 3
12:20 – 12:30 Reading time
12:30 – 1:30 Period 4
13:30 – 14:05 Lunch
14:05 – 15:05 Period 5. Students dismissed.
This amounts to 32 hours 55 minutes in a typical week, including breaks but not after school activities.
Punctuality is vitally important. Lateness accounts for a large amount of missed learning and can lead to students falling behind with this work.
