Oathall sets homework on a scheduled basis to allow consistency and to support students organising their time effectively. More information can be found in the Homework Policy. All homework is set on Bromcom.
Amount of Homework
The amount of homework will vary according to the subject and year group. Students allocated time for homework is shown below.
Key Stage 3
Homework is set according to the following schedule:

| WEEK B | MFL | Geography | History |
English, maths and science will set up to two hours of homework.
MFL, geography and history will set up to one hour of homework.
Additional homework tasks will be set by performance, art and DT, computer studies and RE up to twice per half term.
Year 7 students will receive a reduced amount of homework in their first term.
Key Stage 4
Homework is set according to the following schedule:

Each examined subject at Key Stage 4 will set approximately two hours of homework.
There will be a minimum of one week for completion (deadlines may vary depending on the subject).
