Y9 chess tournament results
Oliver J of 9ELMS took first place in the inaugural Y9 Chess Tournament that finished last week.
In a hard fought final against Reuben S he was eventually triumphant. Rory W took third place. There were 19 participants in all.
Deputy Head of Year and organiser of the tournament Ms A Rus said:
